The recall involves certain 2009 Polaris Ranger side-by-side, off-road vehicles. The model and serial number identification decal is located under the front seat, on the right-side seat support. Reason for Recall

An electrical short can lead to overheating in the rear tail light wiring harnesses, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Remedy

Consumers should stop using the recalled vehicles immediately and contact any Polaris Ranger dealer to schedule a free repair. Polaris has notified registered consumers directly about this recall.
