Product Description

This recall involves 30, 40, 50, 65-pint dehumidifiers with the GE brand name. Recalled model numbers are listed below. The brand name, model number, pint capacity and manufacture date are printed on the nameplate sticker on the back of the dehumidifier. The dehumidifiers are light gray plastic and measure between 19 and 23 inches tall, 13 and 15 inches wide, and 9 and 11 inches deep. Reason for Recall

The dehumidifiers can overheat, smoke and catch fire, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.

Remedy

Consumers should immediately turn off and unplug the dehumidifiers and contact Gree to receive a refund.
